DEPT. CA CLOSED SESSION TO INSTRUCT NEGOTIATOR CITY -
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. That the City Council consider the acquisition of the : parcel and appoint a negotiator to talk to the owner and
representatives.
2. At the conclusion of the public portion of this item, adjc
closed session pursuant to Section 54956.8 of the Cal:
Government Code to instruct the City's negotiators,
ITEM EXPLANATION
The City's Growth Management Plan requires the acquisition of for the southwest quadrant. Staff recommends that the ( consider the acquisition of an approximately 30 acre parcel OF the Shermans generally located east of Interstate 5 and sc Poinsettia Lane. A map of the property is attached as Exhibit. City has secured an appraisal of the property and the City 1 recommends that the Council appoint a negotiator to explo
possible acquisition of the property by the City with the pi
owners. If the Council concurs, your action is by motion to
the staff to pursue the possible acquisition of the property
