RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept donation of two thousand eight hundred fifty dollars ($2,850)
from Southwest Bank.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Department has received a donation from Southwest Bank in the amount of two thousand eight hundred
fifty dollars ($2,850) in support of the 1988 Carlsbad Triathlon.
Southwest Bank has been an annual supporter of the Triathlon and
funds have been used to offset the costs associated with staging this
special event.
A Letter of Appreciation will be sent by the Department on behalf of
the Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Commission and City Council.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds will be deposited into account number 880-51 9-921 4-000
(Triathlon Trust Account).

DONATION
On behalf of the Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Commission and
City Council, we would like to extend our appreciation for your
organizations most generous donation of $2,850 for the 1988 Carlsbad
Triathlon. The funds will help offset the cost of staging an event
which our city is most proud of and is enjoyed by a great number of
participants and spectators alike.
Thank you once again, your consideration and contribution is to be
commended.
