RESOLUTION NO. 88-396
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF FUNDS FOR FIREWORKS AT POPS CONCERT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Californj
does hereby resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City's Arts Office provides cultural
opportunities for Carlsbad residents, and
WHEREAS, the Arts Commission recommends fireworks
held in conjunction with the Pops Concert, and
WHEREAS, additional funding is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
the City of Carlsbad, California that:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The donation in the amount of $2,000 to the Ci Carlsbad from Union Pacific Realty Company, for the Arts Ofj support of the fireworks at the Pops Concert is hereby acce]
3. The City is hereby authorized to expend said j
for the fireworks at the Pops Concert.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
