BILL INTERSECTION OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND CARLSBAD BOULEVARD DEPT.lzcs~n- MTG. 10/4/88 DEPT. HD.- CITY ATTY'VB CITY MGRG&L RECOMMENDED ACTION: Direct staff to study the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Carlsbad Boulevard for possible improvements until final alignment is in place. DISCUSSION: During the discussions regarding improvements to Manzano Drive, attention has been drawn to the condition and safety of the intersection at Palomar Airport Road and Carlsbad Boulevard. At this time it appears that the ultimate improvement of that intersection will not occur for several years. Therefore, I am recommending that City staff be directed to study the intersection and return with suggestions for possible improvements that would help the situation until the final alignment is in place.
