HC MTG. 11-1-88 ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT DEED CITY All CITY MGI FOR PARK LAND PURPOSES DEPT.- (CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 85-5) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution ~0.88-398 accepting a Grant Deed for park land purpo: ITEM EXPLANAT I ON : The 1982 La Costa Parks Agreement between the City and Chon Corporal provides for the accelerated dedication and development of park land in La Costa area. A grant deed for park land purposes was submitted in Septei of 1986 by BCE Development Corporation prior to approval of the final map Carl sbad Tract 85-5. FISCAL IMPACT: Requiring dedications as a condition of development saves the City expe in park land acquisitions. EXHIBITS : 1. 2. Location Map. 3. CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED. WHEREAS, BCE Development Incorporated has submitted Grant Deed conveying a parcel of land to the City of Carlsbi for park purposes: and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad h( determined it to be in the public interest to accept sa Deed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the Grant Deed from BCE Developme Incorporated, dated September 10, 1986, conveying a parcel land for park purposes as described on Exhibit A of the Gra Deed to the City of Carlsbad which is on file with the Ci Clerk and is incorporated herein by reference, is accepted. 3.
