I am happy to tell you that easement finally recorded on June 7, 1988, as file no. 88-271426. A copy of the signed easement is enclosed for your file. It is my understanding that with the easement recorded and so shown on the Construction drawings, this project is now complete and ready to go to City Council with your department's recommend- ation for acceptance. Obviously an important aspect to us of the acceptance process is the release and/or exoneration of various bonds. Daon/BCE Development bonds are subject to release and notification should be sent in duplicate original to: La Costa Ranch Co. P.O. Mr. Tim Fcnnessy June 7, 1988 Page Two These bonds are: B 396349 B 396574 908526 7100688 In addition to the Daon/BCE Development bonds, the La Costa Land Company had delivered bonds 6126638 and 9775998 from Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland in connection with the Santa Fe Knolls project. The original request of the Ranch0 La Costa Trust in Dissolution for release of these bonds is also enclosed with this letter. Tim, as you are only too aware, getting to this point has been exceedingly difficult and time consuming. At this point there is extreme pressure for this project particularly to obtain the bond releases. With all now in order, I hope you will be able to pre- pare the agenda bill without further delay. Please let me know the approximate date this will go to Council and call if your have questions. Very truly yours, RUTH A. BESECKER Project Manager RAB/jb Enclosure cc: J Walter Brown Burton L.
