1987-88 STREET SLURRY SEAL PROGRAM

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of the 1987-88 Streets Slurry Seal Program, Contract No. U/M-l8, as complete and requests the City Clerk be directed to have the Notice of Completion recorded and to release the bonds 35 days after recordati on.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On August 3, 1988, the City Council awarded a contract for 1987-88 Streets Slurry Seal Program to California Pavement Maintenance Company, Inc. of San Diego and Sacramento in the amount of $217,923.24. The project has been completed at a cost of $213,870.19 and is acceptable to the Utilities & Maintenance Director. There were no change orders for the project.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There are sufficient funds in Account No. 001-820-5110-2412 for payment on the project.

To All Laborers and Material Men and to Every Other Person Interested:
YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on October 20, 1988 the Utilities &
Maintenance project consisting of the 1987-88 Streets Slurry Seal Program to
slurry seal various streets in the City on which California Pavement
maintenance Company, Inc. was the Contractor, and Reliance Insurance Company
was the Surety, was completed.
VERIFICATION OF CITY CLERK
