RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept public improvements built as part of Seascape Village Apartments, MS 661, authorize City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds, and direct the Utilities and Maintenance Department to commence maintaining the public streets associated with the subdivision.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Developer has constructed all improvements required of this project and has
requested the City to accept the Public Improvements itemized in Exhibit 3. City
forces have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Utilities and Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the public improvements. The value of the improvements is estimated at $789,819.00.

RE: Release of Bonds - Seascape Apartments
Dear Lisa:
As per your request earlier this month, this letter is to
serve as written request for release of the following bonds
on Seascape Apartments:
1. Cash Security and Cash Bond F2.84.87 in the amount of
$115,160.00.
2. Nonumentation bond #YS876-6876
3. Faithful Performance Bond #YS876-6865
4. Labor and Flaterials Bond fYS876-6865
A verbal request for release of bonds was made in February
1988 to Timothy Fennessy in engineering. Ye gave me the information listed above. Tim mentioned that although the
bonds listed above as items 3 and 4 have the same numher,
they are considered separate bonds by the city. Tim also
released Grading and Erosion Control 3ond #YS876-6864 on
April 28, 1988.
I understand the request for release of bonds needs to go
before the city council for their approval. tlhatever you
can do to have this scheduled to go before the council at
their next meetinz and obtain release of bonds is
appreciated.
