This tentative map is scheduled to expire on November 11, 1988. Because of delays in Coastal Commission approval of our tentative map, we will not be able to complete the final engineering necessary to record the map within the original two year time limitation. The draft conditions we received from your staff indicate that 1 are recommending a 12-month extension. I would like to point ( that, as of a few days ago, there are only 10 months left on 1 proposed recommended time extension and we have not yet receiT a schedule about when we will be before the City Council for tht final action. On behalf of the Huntington Beach Company, we would like to suggc that the proposed expiration date be changed from November 12, 1< to July 13, 1990, which is an additional 8 months on top of t one-year request. It is totally within the discretion of the Cj to allow an extra extension, if requested. The reason we E requesting the extension to run until July 13, 1990, is to coincj with the Coastal Permit that will expire on that date. I h2 attached a copy of the cover sheet of the Coastal Permit indicatj the Commission action. The normal life for their Permit, defined later on in the Permit, is two years from the date Commission action. That the above recitations are true and correct. B. That the Tentative Map CT 85-17, is hereby extended fol from November 12, 1988, to July 13, 1990, subject to the ex€ fulfillment of all the conditions of Resolution No. 8873 and thc additional conditions: PLANNING CONDITIONS 1. This project shall comply with all conditions and required by the Zone 5 Local Facilities Management Plan approved I Council on August 4, 1987, incorporated herein and on file in ti Department and any future amendments to the Plan made prior to the building permits. 2. The applicant shall submit off-site alignment plans Valley Road from the project site to Cannon Road. These plans shall I by the Parks and Recreation Director prior to improvement plan subm. a1 ignment of Hidden Val ley Road at the northwest corner of the tentati shall be realigned to the satisfaction of the City Engineer prior ti of improvement plans. 3. All Planned Industrial Permits associated with CT : be reviewed relative to consistency with the Hillside Development (Chapter 21.95). The drainage system shall be designed to ensure t resulting from a 10-year frequency storm of a 6 hours or 24 hours durl developed conditions, is equal to or less than the runoff from a st same frequency and duration under existing developed conditions. Both 24 hour storm durations shall be analyzed to determine the deten capacities necessary to accomplish the desired results. 2. The applicant shall submit a preliminary design/st intersection of Palomar Airport Road and College Boulevard to det ultimate right-of-way needed for additional traffic lanes required in This design/study shall be approved by the City Engineer prior to appr final map. The additional ultimate right-of-way shall be offered for by a certificate on the final map. C. That the following conditions shall be deleted or altered 1.
