Adopt Resolution No. 84 -6 6 accepting the construction of improvements to Park and Marina Drives and the Park Drive Act Assessment District, Project No. 3216, as complete, direc the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion and authorj the Purchasing Officer to increase the project purchase order
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Construction of improvements to Park and Marina Drives and Park Drive 1911 Act Assessment District, Project No. 3216 considered complete. Staff recommends the City Council fom accept the improvements and direct the filing of the Notic
Completion.
This project involved the installation of half-st
improvements including curb, gutter, sidewalk, street lic
drainage improvements, retaining walls, and intersec
modifications to Park and Marina Drives. Additionally, fror improvements were installed for three (3) lots to the nort the project area comprising the balance of the Park 1 Assessment District. The project included eight (8) cl.
orders, executed in accordance with Administrative Policy Nc required for extension of the block retaining wall to the sc
additional pavement section at the intersection, additi striping, and related construction items.
An Engineer's Report stating the amount of assessment to eac the three (3) parcels in the Assessment District portion of
project is being prepared. This report will be brough Council in the near future and a public hearing will be schec to confirm the assessments.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO PARK
AND MARINA DRIVES AND THE PARK DRIVE 1911
ACT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, PROJECT NO. 3216
WHEREAS, a bid for the improvements to Park anc
Drives and the remainder of the Park Drive 1911 Act As
District, Project No. 3216, was previously awarded
Carlsbad City Council; and
WHEREAS, construction of the aforementioned imprl
has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $348,194.(
previously appropriated for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
