Recommended Committee Work Plan 1 0 4 z 3 0 0 I I I , 1; 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 0 w RESOLUTION NO. 89-79 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A COMMITTEE TO IDENTIFY AND RESEARCH A VETERAN'S MEMORIAL FOR CARLSBAD AND RECOMMEND POSSIBLE SITES, PROCESS OF SELECTION AND FUNDING WHEREAS, the City Council has determined, based on tht public input, that a veteran's memorial for the City of Carlsbac warrants further consideration; and a WHEREAS, the type of memorial, site, cost and selectic 9 process should be evaluated and recommended to expedite and lmplement this program; and LO . I1 ll WHEREAS, the CiPy Council wishes to appoint a task fo l211 charged with the duty of identifying the type of memorial, 1311 possible sites, cost, selection process and financing 141/ alternatives; and 15 11 WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it shal 161/ appoint two Council members to the Committee; and I? Define specific function of Committee. 6. Create list of possible locations. 7. Discuss cost and financing. 8. Discuss requirements and restrictions 9. Discuss process of selection. 10. Set time and dates of subsequent meetings. Meeting 2 Review, Discuss and Select Process, Location and Cost for Veteran's Memorial 1. Report back on information gathered. 2.
