I CITY A' MTG. 31 281 89 DEPT. 1s CITY M RECOMMENDED ACTION: TRAVEL REQUEST Authorize the Data Processing Division's Systems Analyst to attend the Southern California Regional Users Group (SCRUG) Conference in Pasadena on May 3 through May 5, 1989. ITEM EXPLANATION: The Southern California Regional Users Groups' annual conference is schedu: to be held May 3 - 5, 1989 in Pasadena. The conference will focus on many topics of interest to the City of Carlsbad. The users groups is comprised of HP3000 users, so conference topics will relate to HP3000 issues includii communications and networking with microcomputers. Council approval is required since the Systems Analyst will be staying out town for two nights. FISCAL IMPACT: Funds are available in the Information Systems budget, and expenditures art estimated at $600. EXHIBITS : 1.
