If Council concurs, your action is to adopt Resolution No. 89-/g/ approving the Precise Development Plan PDP l(C).
ITEM EXPLANATION
The City Council at your meeting of April 18, 1989 directed our office to prepare a resolution approving an amendment to the existing precise development plan for the Phase IV expansion of the Encina Water Pollution Control Facility. That document is attached.

7 WHEREAS, on March 15, 1989 the Carlsbad Planning
8 Commission adopted Resolution No. 2830 recommending to the City
9 Council that Precise Development Plan PDP l(C) be approved; and

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE EXISTING PRECISE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE PHASE IV EXPANSION OF THE ENCINA WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY LOCATED AT 6200 AVENIDA ENCINAS. APPLICANT: ENCINA ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCY CASE NO.: PDP l(C)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on
April 18, 1989 held a public hearing to consider the
recommendations and heard all persons interested in or opposed to
Precise Development Plan l(C): and
WHEREAS, said precise development plan has been
declared to have been considered in conjunction with a previously
certified Environmental Compliance dated November 12, 1988, which
was approved by the Planning Commission on March 15, 1989 in
compliance with Chapter 19.04 of the City of Carlsbad
Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1980 and the California
Environmental Quality Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the findings of the Planning Commission in

with the provisions for its design and improvement and subject to
the conditions of .this resolution, are consistent with all
applicable general and specific plans of the City of Carlsbad.
4. That Precise Development Plan PDP l(C) is hereby
approved subject to the conditions of Planning Commission No.
2830.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of
the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 2nd day of
May I 1989, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
