Letter of Cormendation
To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to take a Itanent to reconmend Lynn Landry , a fom Hughes employee, who has been subject to a major reduction action, throughout the
Campany.
Lynn joined my Prccuremnt Group in 1986 as an outside liaison person worl
ing with the Buyers and Suppliers to achieve on-time deliveries. Her intx
play betwea Buyer, Supplier and Engineering was outstanding and made our
activity "The Dgineering Support System", a leader in on-time deliveries, Her task was not easy, as our Group supported many proqrams that were ten 1
fifteen years old. To repeat, she did an outstanding job catplying with 2
complex systm, and was able to make things happsn.
Lynn's attendance record was excellent and her.attitude and cdcating ability, exceptional. However, when the major cut back was requested, an(
it was Division wide, Lynn's services were the first to be considered exp able.
It should be noted that her separation documat does state that if the jo:
requirement is reinstated and she is interested and available, she should
considered for rehire.
I have appreciated those tasks performed so well by Lynn, and feel she wo
be an asset to any cc~npany.

As you are aware, considerable effort has been expended by GUT
group over the last ten week in responding to the Air Force
request for "Fiscal P1znnir.g Data, B-1 Program Changes ,I' and the
status briefing to General krtin on 30 !faarch 1977 bas recognized
as requiring significant dedications from many people in Contracts
and Proposals. \v%ile many in our group mrked long and hard iq
preparing the vast quantities of required ,data, Lynn blathews, wixie
assigned permanently to me, over the past weeks, must be singled out for her performnce. She not only has..responded.in.-a.
positive manncx to issued directions but has demonstrated
individual initiative in identifying and solving problems which,
you would recognize, xere necessarily unique because of. the nature
of this effort. The quantity and quality of her wrk was beyond
expectations.
It is hoped that Ljm's performance and attitude during these
