MTG. 6-6-89 ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR
MINOR SUBDIVISION 730 AND 736 (OLSEN/MELLGREN)
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept improvements, authorize City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release
securities, and direct the Utilities and Maintenance Department to commence maintaining the
public streets associated with the subdivision.
I REM EXPLANATION
The Developer has finished construction of Hoover Street and utility improvements required
of this project and has requested the City to accept the Public Improvements itemized in
Exhibit 3. City forces have inspected the public improvements and found them to be
satisfactory. A separate Future Improvement Agreement was executed by the Developer to
defer the Adams Street improvement until such time as a Rural Road Standard is adopted
by Council. Engineering Staff is working on the Rural Road Standard for Adams Street and
will bring it forward for Council action in the near future.
I FISCAL IMPACT
The Utilities and Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the public street and
sewer improvements. The value of the improvement is estimated at $51,004.00.
