Adopt Resolution No. e?-2’iccepting a donation from The
Fieldstone Company.
ITEM EXPLANATION
The Fieldstone Company has donated funds to the City of
Carlsbad Arts Office in the amount of $5,000 to fund two OL
more business/arts breakfasts to be co-sponsored with the
Carlsbad Economic Enhancement Council (CEEC).
The Arts Commission recommends that the City accept the donation for the business/arts breakfasts. These breakfast
meetings provide a forum for community discussion along wit presentations on successful business and arts partnerships, and on the importance of the arts in the aesthetic environment of our City. The donation will cover the costs
of speakers, publicity, mailing and other related costs.
FISCAL IMPACT
The estimated cost of the breakfasts is $5,000. The
donation from The Fieldstone Company will cover the cost.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF FUNDS FROM THE FIELDSTONE COMPANY.

WHEREAS, the City's Arts Office provides cultura:
opportunities for Carlsbad residents, and
WHEREAS, the Arts Commission recommends that brei
