LABOR NEGOTIATIONS

ITEM EXPLANATION:
City representatives have met with representatives of the Carlsbad Fire
Association and the Carlsbad City Employees Association to continue
negotiating a successor Memorandum of Understanding for FY 1989-90.
staff would like to inform the City Council of the progress of the meetings
and get council direction.
