MTG. 8-77-89 ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS CAR COUNTRY EXPANSION DEPT.ENC. CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 87-03
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept improvements, authorize City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds, and direct the Utilities and Maintenance Department to commence maintaining the public improvements associated with the subdivision.
ITEM EXPLANATION
The Developer has constructed a portion of the improvements required of this project and has requested the City to accept the Public Improvements itemized in Exhibit 3. City forces have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory. This project also requires offsite storm drain improvements which have not been completed. Separate bonds have been submitted and approved for these improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT
The Utilities and Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the
public street, sewer, storm drain and irrigation improvements. The value of
the improvement is estimated at $1,365,466.60.
