EXTENSION OF EMPLOYMENT LIST
City Council adopt Resolution No. extending the list
for Fire Captain from October 28, to October 28, 1990.
ITEM EXP LANATION:
Last year the Personnel Department established an employment list for Fire Captain. The recruitment for this position
took a great deal of time and expense to conduct, and the
employment list still has a number of qualified applicants.
The Fire Department plans to hire three Captains to staff Fire Station #6 this year. staffing for the Fire Department, Personnel wishes to extend the employment list for one year.

RESOLUTION NO 89-337
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING THE LIST FOR FIRE CAPTAIN TO OCTOBER 28,
1990.
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council
concurs, that the list for Fire Captain should be extended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitation is true and correct.
2. That the City Council authorizes and directs the City
Manager to extend the list for Fire Captain from October 28,
1989, to October 28, 1990.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 26th day of September ,
1989, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson
