ITEM EXPLANATION Mr. Hugh Vickery has resigned as a member of the Beach Erosion Committ Vickery's term does not expire until June, 1990. In accordance with Section 54974 of the Government Code, the publ i c has bee to submit applications for appointment to this vacancy. A Notice Applications was publ ished in the B1 ade Tribune and the Carlsbad Journal 30, 1989. Other members of the Committee are: Ralph Cop1 ey, Jr., Donald Jacks( Johnson, Mario Monroy, Gary Nessim, and Sally Vigil.
