RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize Fire Captain/Training Specialist, Marc Revere, to travel to Phoenix, Arizona to attend a four day educational seminar. ITEM EXPLANATION: This is a national symposium for fire training officers entitled "Molding the Fire Officer of the 90's." The symposium deals with challenges and issues surrounding the fire officer of the 1990's. Topics include: Fire Officer of the Future, The Management of Change, Living Within Financial Boundaries, The Management of Ethics, and various others. FISCAL IMPACT: Estimated total cost is $872. Funds are available in the Fire Department's travel budget. EXHIBITS: 1.
