RECOMMENDED ACTION:
TITLE
NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO MANZANO DRIVE, PROJECT NO. 33
Adopt Resolution No. @-%?-accepting the construction of the street
improvements to Manzano Drive, Project No. 3313, as complete, and
directing the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The construction of the street improvements to Manzano Drive,
Project No. 3313, has been satisfactorily completed. This project
completes the half-width street improvements including curb,
gutter, sidewalk, drainage facilities, traffic signing, and an additional twenty (20) feet of paved roadway.
Staff recommends the improvements for this project be formally accepted.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City Council has previously appropriated project funds in the amount of $40,000 for this project. Additionally, in accordance with a previously approved agreement between the City of Carlsbad and the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, the State contributed $60,000 to the project. A summary of the estimated final project costs is as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING THE
CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO MANZANO DRIVE, PROJECT NO. 3313, AS COMPLETE
WHEREAS, the construction of Manzano Drive, Project No.
3313, has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been
prepared; and
WHEREAS, all projects costs have been established.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of Manzano Drive specifically
identified as Project No. 3313 is deemed complete and hereby
accepted.

4. That following the recordation of the Notice of
Completion, the City Clerk shall forward a copy of said document
to the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation, Post
Office Box 942896, Sacramento, CA 94296-0001
5. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to
close the project accounts upon payment of all final claims and
costs.

Carlsbad City Council held on the 8th day of November 1989 by the
