ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT DEED
FOR STREET PURPOSES
Adopt Resolution No. S’r -YUi accepting Grant Deed for street purposes.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
As a condition of approval of Building Permit No. CB 890759 the owner is required to
for dedication 5 feet of right-of-way along a portion of the easterly side of Highland I
The attached Grant Deed was submitted for council acceptance in satisfaction 01
requirement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Requiring dedication as a condition of development will save the City expenses in the f
right-of-way acquisitions.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED ON HIGHLAND DRIVE.
WHEREAS, Brian and Muriel Watts have submitted a Grant Deed conveying an t
to the City of Carlsbad for street purposes over a portion of Highland Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to be in t
interest to accept said deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of 1
California, as follows:

2. That the Grant Deed from Brian and Muriel Watts dated October i
conveying an easement for street purposes over a portion of Highland Drive to th
Carlsbad which is on file with the City Clerk and is incorporated herein by refe
