RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. VI e Y’a , appointing a member to the Board of Dire the Foundation for Carlsbad Community Cable Television.
ITEM EXPLANATION
The By-Laws of the Foundation for Carlsbad Community Cable Television pro five (5) of the Directors shall be appointed by a majority vote of the City The By-Laws also require that those five (5) Directors reflect the diversi population of the city. Since the inception of the Foundation, one of th appointed Directors has been a representative of the Carlsbad Unific District.
The School District sent a letter to Council recently requesting thal appoint James McCormick replacing Julianne Nygaard as their representati board.
Other council appointed Board members are Tim Davidson, Bill Dominguez, Fr and Robert Sheppard.
