RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. Ty- +4'f accepting a Grant Deed for street purposes
Basswood Avenue.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
As a condition of approval of Building Permit No. CB 890752 the owner, Mr. JaI
Hollenbeck, is required to offer for dedication 10 feet of right-of-way along a port
of the northerly side of Basswood Avenue. The attached grant deed was submitted
Council acceptance in satisfaction of this requirement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Requiring dedications as a condition of development will save the City expenses in
future right-of-way acquisitions.

described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the easterly line of said Lot
18 with a line which is parallel with and distant 560 feet at right angles southeasterly from the northwesterly line of said Lot 18; thence South 55O27’ West along said parallel line 144.52
feet; thence South 28O03‘ East 186.73 feet to the southerly line

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED ON
BASSWOOD AVENUE.
WHEREAS, James and Penny Hollenbeck, have submitted a Grant Deed cc
an easement to the City of Carlsbad for street purposes over a portion of Bi
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to t:
public interest to accept said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of C
California, as follows:
