for bids for the improvements to Monroe and Marron Streets. Elel

The engineer's estimate for the construction portion of t project was $573,141. References have been verified on the bidder, Commercial Contractors, Incorporated, and staff recomme
the award of this contract to the lowest responsive, responsi
bidder, Commercial Contractors, Incorporated. This proj
involves the widening of Monroe Street to City standards includ
the addition of travel lanes, sidewalks, streetlights, substant
signal at Monroe and Marron, and related improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The project is funded through the issuance of bond proceeds as element of the Hosp Grove Proposition A sales tax measure. Accounts exist as listed below:
