Honorable Mayor Lewis City of Carlsbad
1200 Elm Avenue
Carlsbad, Cal.if ornia 92008
March 12, 1990
Attention:
Honorable Mayor Lewi.s
Subject: Historic Preservation Commission
The month of April 1990, will mark the end of my four year term
as a Historic Preservati.on Commissioner and will require your
review of that position.
I appreciate the opportunity given to participate in the commission's
beginning years and setting forth preservation activities that will
be beneficial to the cultural welfare of the citizens of Carlsbad. I
have given a great deal. of thought to volunteering for an additional
four year term and have decided to step aside at this time. It is my
understanding, that it is permissible to re-apply for appointment to
t,he same commissi.on and in the future would 1 ike to be consi.dered.
With this in mind, I feel that it is important, that &her concerned
persons have the opportunity and privilege of serving the citizens of
our city.
Once again, thank you for the privilege of serving our community and
for the support given to the commission by yourself and the City Council..
