ENG CARLSBAD TRACT 89-01 LA COSTA COURT CITY MGR.a RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Final Map for Carlsbad Tract 89-01, La Costa Court. ITEM FZPLANATION: Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad Tract 85-34, a 8 unit subdivision located on Levante Street west of La Costa Avenue. The map conforms substantially with the Subdivision Map Act, Carlsbad Municipal Code, the conditions of approval and the tentative tract map as approved by the City Council on September 26,1989 per Resolution No 89-338. This map has been found to be consistent with the Growth Management Ordinance and the requirements of the Local Facilities Management Plan for Zone 6. Currently all public facilities within or impacted by Zone 6 meet or exceed the adopted performance standard. For a more complete analysis of the public facilities impact for this project, see the attached Local Facilities Impact Assessment form. FISCAL IMPACX: This project is expected to generate the following: Facility Management Fee $2,480 Park-in-lieu Fee 7,864 Traffic Impact Fee 4,288 Bridge and Thoroughfare Fee 3,392 TOTAL $15,544 In addition to this amount, the subdivider has agreed to pay Public Facilities fees in an amount to be determined at building permit issuance. Also, the subdivider has agreed to pay drainage fees as a result of the forthcoming master storm drain study. These figures are for information and do not represent a detailed economic impact analysis of this project. While increased operating expenses related to this development are expected to be offset from increased tax or fee revenue, no exact percentage of offset can be predicted.
