TITLE: SUPPLEMENTAL CONSULTANT AGREEMENT REPORT FOR CANNON ROAD, RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No.pJ&approving a supplemental agreement with RECON for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report for Cannon Road, Reaches 3 and 4. ITEM EXPLANATION: On October 14, 1988, a consultant agreement was executed by the City Manager for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) by the firm of RECON. Previous environmental work identified a number of archaeological sites which required testing for significance. It was felt that rather than leave this testing to be done just before construction, it should be done now so that the results may be included in the EIR. During the preparation of the EIR and review by staff, several areas of the report required more data. These included additional flood control alternatives, inclusion of a mitigation plan for the biological impacts and inclusion of new traffic data received from SANDAG . The above items have been incorporated into one (1) supplemental agreement. FISCAL IMPACT: The original agreement amount of $24,925 and an earlier change order amount of $9,600 have been deposited by the developer. The additional fees for this supplemental agreement are as follows: Archaeological Testing Archaeological Testing (Additional Site) Flood Control, Mitigation and Traffic $ 9,985 6,214 13,500 TOTAL $29,699 The developer has deposited funds in the amount of $29,699 to cover these costs.
