RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Continue this Item until such time as the SDG&E officials have
returned their comments to the City.
ITEM EXPLANATION;
The Commission requested an update on the Agua Hedionda Lagoon
rules and regulation issues.
The attached letter to William Ivers indicates that we are still
awaiting a response from the SDG&E officials, once we receive
this report and after evaluation the item will again be placed on
the Commission agenda for your review and recommendation.

AQUA HEDIONDA LAGOON - CITY OF CARLSBAD
I have been asked by Frank Mannen, Assistant City Manager of the
City of Carlsbad to update you on the status of the use and
insurance issue relating to the Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
tfhile processing the report through the Parks and Recreation
Commission, a representative of the S.D.G.&E. Company requested and
was given time for his company to review the report containing the
alternatives and recommendations.
S.D.G.&E. has indicated their review will be completed by the end
of the month. The City will then evaluate their findings and again
process the report containing the recommendations through the Parks
and Recreation Commission and the City Council.
