ACCEPTANCE OF
c- Adopt Resolution No. , accepting a nine hundred ($900)
dollar donation from the Southern California Tennis Association in support of Youth Daycamp Programs.

ITEM EXPLANATION
The Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Department has received a nine hundred
($900) dollar donation from the Southern California Tennis Association in support of the Annual Youth Tennis Daycamp Program. If Council concurs, the funds will be used to purchase tennis balls, T-shirts, and refreshments.
The Parks and Recreation Commission has recommended acceptance of these funds by the City council. A letter of appreciation will be sent on
behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of ($900) dollars will be deposited into Recreation Special Events (Account #880-519-920-000).

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORN
ACCEPTING A NINE HUNDRED DOLLAR DONATION FROM THE SOUTHERN CALIFORN
TENNIS ASSOCIATION IN SUPPORT OF YOUTH DAYCAMP PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS? the Southern California Tennis Association has donated ni
hundred ($900) dollars to the City of Carlsbad in support of YOL
Recreation Programs sponsored by the Assocation's Junior Developme
Program, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has received this donati
and recommends acceptance by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the generosity of the Southe
California Tennis Association and wishes to accept this donation
support of the Youth Daycamp Program,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
Carl sbad, as foll ows :
1. That the City Council accepts the donation of nine hund
($900) dollars in support of the Youth Daycamp Program, a
