The course is structured to cover a variety important construction inspection skills which are necessary f an inspector to successfully perform their duties. The cour will also offer opportunities for inspectors to exchange r ideas and share their experiences on the most rea developments in construction techniques and materials. Counc approval of this travel request is required as it was r included in the Municipal Project Division's 1990-91 fiscal YE budget travel expense account. FISCAL IMPACT: Funds are available in the Human Resources Department budget f the $420 course registration and materials fee. The inspect will be reimbursed approximately $235.00 for transportatic meals and lodging expenses which will be incurred during t trip. CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING OUT-OF-STATE WHEREAS, City Council approval is required for out-of-state travel requests wher the request is not approved in the yearly budget approval process; and WHEREAS, the staff will benefit from an inspector training course to be held in La! Vegas, Nevada; and WHEREAS, funds are available in the Municipal Projects Division’s travel expense account to reimburse staff for transportation, meals, and lodging incurred on the trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. 2. That the above recitations are true and correct.
