DEPT. RECOMMENDED ACTION: CITY PGR City Council adopt Resolution No. yfl- yif/Aaccepting a $3,2 donation from Gerico's Bar & Grill to benefit the Carlsk Senior Center. ITEM EXPLANATION: Since September 1987, Gericols Bar & Grill, 850 Tamare Avenue in Carlsbad, has sponsored an Annual Golf Tournamc and in 1988 they additionally started an annual dinner bc which benefit proyrams at the Carlsbad Senior Center. Gerico's 4th Annual Carlsbad Senior Center Benefit Gc Tournament took place on Saturday, September 22, 1990, at t Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course. The Gerico' sponsor fundraising dinner was held on the following day, Sunda September 23, 1990. SENIOR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: At their meeting on November 1, 1990, the Senior Commissi voted unanimously to recommend acceptance of $3,238 rais through the Gericols Bar & Grill 4th Annual Carlsbad Seni Center Benefit Golf Tournament and Fundraising Dinner. 'I Senior Commission recommends that this donation be deposit into the Senior Citizen Trust Fund and be utilized towards t purchase of special equipment at the Senior Center. FISCAL IMPACT: The $3,238 donation has been deposited into the Senior Citiz Trust Fund Account #880-519-9203-0000.
