ITEM EXPLANATION: Pursuant to Section 18.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal code the owners, Ray Escano Niki L. Escano, husband and wife, are required to dedicate one foot of additic roadway along the east side of Carlsbad Boulevard in order to obtain a building per1 FISCAL IMPACT: Requiring dedications as a condition of development will save the City expenses in future right-of-way acquisitions. WHEREAS, Ray Escano and Niki L. Escano, husband and wife have subm a Grant Deed conveying an easement to the City of Carlsbad for roadway purpi over a portion of Carlsbad Boulevard. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad determined it to be ir public interest to accept said Deed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cit Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. 2. That the above recitations are true and correct. That the Grant Deed from Ray Escano and Niki L. Escano, husband wife, dated December 1 1, 1990, conveying an easement for roadway purposes a portion of Carlsbad Boulevard to the City of Carlsbad which on file with the Clerk and is incorporated herein by reference, is accepted. 3.
