MTG. l-8-91 ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS

CARLSBAD TRACT 87-03
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept improvements, authorize City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion,
release bonds in accordance with State law and City ordinances, and direct the
Utilities and Maintenance Department to commence maintaining the public storm
drain improvements constructed on Cannon Road from El Arbol Drive to Paseo Del
Norte.
ITEM EXPLANATION
The developer has constructed improvements required of this project. The City
Engineer is requesting that City Council accept the public improvements itemized in
Exhibit 3. City forces have inspected the public improvements and found them to
be satisfactory.
FISCAL IMPACT
The Utilities and Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the public
storm drain improvements. The value of the improvement is estimated at
$609,250.00.
