ITEM EXPLANATION
Last fiscal year the Utilities and Maintenance's Water Division began the Wate
Replacement Program which is an ongoing program to replace old and outdated mei
have become more difficult to read and sometimes inaccurate over the years. The
budget contains $42,000 for this replacement of meters.
In accordance with Section 3.28.1 20 of the Municipal Code, Notice to Bidders was pu
and Request for Bid was made of eight vendors. On March 8, 1991 four responsc
