RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept improvements, authorize the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, releas
in accordance with State Laws and City Ordinances, and direct the Utilities and Main
Department to commence maintaining the public street and sewer improvements constr
Woodland Way and Magnolia Avenue.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Developer has constructed the improvements required of this project. The City En
requesting that City Council accept the public improvements itemized in Exhibit 3. Cii
have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory.
Water improvements have been accepted by the Carlsbad Municipal Water District ar
maintained by the district. The City Engineering Department is holding bonds I
improvements. These will be released along with securities posted for the public si
sewer improvements subsequent to recordation of the Notice of Completion.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Utilities and Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the public street a
improvements. The value of the improvements is estimated at $20,556.50.
