RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No .? I - f c.5 approving plans , specifications , a
contract documents and authorizing the City Clerk to advertise f bids for the construction of the Leo Carrillo Ranch Structur Stabilization, Project No. 3306.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
This project provides for renovations and structural stabilizati
for several buildings on the Leo Carrillo Ranch. In accordan
with strict guidelines developed by the State of California, Offi of Historic Preservation, plans and specifications have be
prepared by the City's architect for this project, Milford Way
Donaldson, AIA. This project involves structural stabilization
historic buildings therefore requiring qualified contractors
demonstrate acceptable performance on previous State historic projects, as well as experience on adobe construction.
The City has retained architect Milford Wayne Donaldson, AIA, review job progress, supervise quality control, insure protecti of adjacent historical fabric, review project scheduling and co estimates, and attend bi-weekly job site meetings duri construction.
Structures shall be repaired in accordance with prioriti
established by the Leo Carrillo Ranch Citizens Committe Construction is scheduled for completion approximately January
1992.
FISCAL IMPACT:
All funds have been provided by the State of California, Office
Historic Preservation through an approved grant which is bei
