accepting a twelve hundred ($1200) dollar donation from the Herrick Corporation ai
recommend acceptance by the City Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Department has received a twelve hundrt
($1200) dollar donation from the Herrick Corporation, in support of the Annual Sprii
Egg Hunt on March 30, 1991. The funds will be used to purchase candy and priz
for all participants. Approximately 1,000 youngsters are expected to attend the eve1
which will be held at Stagecoach, Calavera Hills, and Holiday parks.
The Parks and Recreation Commission has recommended acceptance of these fun(
by the City Council. A letter of appreciation will be sent on behalf of the Parks ar
Recreation Department.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of twelve hundred ($1200) dollars will be deposited in Recreatic
Special Events account #880-5 19-9210-0000.

RESOLUTION NO. 91-110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A
HERRICK CORPORATION.
TWELVE-HUNDRED DOLLAR DONATION FROM THE
WHEREAS, the Herrick Corporation has donated twelve hundred ($12OC
dollars to the City of Carlsbad in support of a Youth Recreation Program; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has received this
donation and Parks and Recreation Commission recommends acceptance by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the generosity of the Herrick
Corporation and wishes to accept this donation in support of Youth Special
Events.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of tl
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the City Council accepts the donation of twelve hundred
($1200) dollars in support of Youth Special Events, and
