RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. q/-IsC approving the transfer of funds in the amount of $1,617 within the CDBG Urban County Program Public Rest Rooms Project Account 391-840-1890-3737 to the Paint-A-Thon Program Account 391-840-189 0-373 5 D
ITEM EXPLANATION:
As part of the 13th year Community Development Block Grant
Urban County program, the City Council approved funding for the Santa Fe Depot Public Rest Rooms Project and Paint-A-Thc Program.
The Public Rest Rooms Project has been completed. costs for design and construction of the Rest Rooms was
$28,383, leaving a balance of $1,617 in the project account
All funds allocated to the Paint-A-Thon Program ($19,000) have been spent. Because of continuing citizen interest in the program, it is recommended that the unencumbered balanct of $1,617 in the Public Rest Rooms Project account be transferred to the Paint-A-Thon Program account.
In accordance with Paint-A-Thon Program criteria, paint
vouchers are worth up to $400 each. The above recommended fund transfer would permit the City to issue an additional four (04) vouchers.
Pursuant to the City's agreement with San Diego County, all 13th Year Urban County projects must be completed and funds spent by June 30, 1991.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The transfer of $1,617 to the Paint-A-Thon Program will bri the total of funds for that project to $20,617. CDBG Urban County funds will cover the total cost of the Paint-A-Thon Program.

WHEREAS, $10,000 fromthe 13th year Community Developm
Block Grant Urban County program have been received
approved for the Paint-A-Thon Program; and
WHEREAS, an additional $5,000 from the Commur
Development Block Grant Entitlement program have been recei
and approved for the Paint-A-Thon Program; and
WHEREAS, all funds allocated to the Paint-A-Thon Pros
have now been spent; and
WHEREAS, there is still citizen interest in the Paint
Thon Program; and
WHEREAS, there is $1,617 available in the 13th \
Community Development Block Grant Urban County Santa Fe DI
Public Rest Rooms account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the (
