U&M 1990-91 STREETS OVERLAY PROGRAM CITY Mc RECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends acceptance of work in accordance with Contract No. U/M 91-2 and requests authorization for the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion and release the appropriate bonds thirty-five (35) days after recordation and for staff to release the retention payment. ITEM EXPLANATION: On December 18, 1991, the City Council approved Resolution No. 90-440, awarding a contract for the 1990-91 Streets Overlay Program to Daley Corporation in the amount of $246,500. Additionally, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $10,712.42 was issued for work on Carlsbad Blvd. Thus, the program costs totaled $257,212.42. The work was subsequently completed on April 1 7,1991 , to the satisfaction of the Utilities and Maintenance Director. FISCAL IMPACT: Sufficient funds have been encumbered in Account No. 001-820-5110-2412 for payment in full on the program. EXHIBITS: 1. Notice of Completion.
