ITEM EXPLANATION As part of the comprehensive Tort Reform Act, the state

I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING TITLE 3,
CHAPTER 3.32 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
REGARDING TIME LIMITS FOR FILING CLAIMS FOR
DAMAGES.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Califor
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That Title 3, Chapter 3.32 of the (
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 3.3;
to read as follows:
"(b) A claim relating to a cause of action for ( for injury to person or to personal property or growing cro]
