RESOLUTION NO. 9 1 - 1 8 Q
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAFUSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
DONATIONS TOTALLING FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLARS FROM THE HERRICK CORPORATION,
REPRESENTING CAPITOL BANK OF CARLSBAD AND
THE FIELDSTONE COMPANY IN SUPPORT OF THE
TENTH ANNUAL TRIATHLON.
WHEREAS, both the Hemck Corporation and the Fieldstone Company
have donated twenty-five hundred ($2500) dollars each to the City of Carlsbad
to pay for awards and offset expenses for race programs and advertising; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission recommends acceptancc
by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the generosity of the Herrick
Corporation and the Fieldstone Company and wishes to accept these donations
in support of the Tenth Anniversary Triathlon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of thc
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the City Council accepts the donation of five thousand
($5000) dollars in total, in support of the Tenth Anniversary
Triathlon, and
Funds will be deposited into the Triathlon trust account #880-515 2.
