Melinda Morrin resigned as a member of the Sister City Committee effective June 13,
1991. The vacated term expires in April, 1993.

Dear Mayor Lewis:
Again yesterday I had intended to attend the Sister City
Committee meeting but was unable to get out of the
office.
As you know, Proposition 140 necessitated deep cuts in our resources, particularly staff. After my promotion to chief of staff in February, I have found it increasingly difficult to work a regular work day and rarely leave on time.
For these reasons, I regret that I cannot adequately
serve on the Sister City Committee and must resign the
appointment. I have thoroughly enjoyed the outstanding
staff and my fellow committee members. I very much
appreciate your appointment and I hope you will keep me
in mind for another position in the future.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve my city.
