Staff recommends Council adopt Resolution No. 4 I - 2 1 8
surplus furnishings to the Carlsbad School District.

ITEM EXPLANATION
The City has a number of items stored at the warehouse that can no longer be used
City department. Since the City does not have a need for these items and the School
can use them in the classrooms and offices, it is recommended these items be d
surplus and transferred to the School District.
FISCAL IMPACT
The Council's decision to transfer the furnishings to the School District rather than to SI
at the County Auction will not seriously affect the General Fund revenue for 1991 -9:

RESOLUTION NO. 91-218
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING CERTAIN
FURNISHINGS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF SAID FURNISHINGS TO THE CARLSBAD
SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determinec
furnishings are surplus; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to transfer these furnishings
Carlsbad School District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
