TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS
(ACTION)
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive donations totalling $650.00 in support of "Carrillo Days". Recommend acceptance
by the City Manager.
ITEM EXPLANATION;
The Department has received three checks totalling $650.00, the purpose of which will be
to fund an entertainment Country/Western band for the Carrillo Days event, scheduled for
August 3, 1991. The following checks have been received:
1. Woodward Corporation - $150.00
2. UDC Homes Limited Partnership - $200.00
3. PSI- Agent For Carrillo Ranch - $300.00 _<>cevpr$ <SAACU
Letters of appreciation will be sent by the department upon final acceptance.
FISCAL IMPACT;
Funds in the amount of $650.00 will be deposited into Acct.#880-5 19-9218 (Parks
Department Donations).
EXHIBITS;

Dear Ms. Kindle:
I am sending you this brief note in response to Mr. Jon Werner's
(Pacific Scene, Inc.) request that we participate in the "Carrillo
Days" celebration. As a landowner within the Carrillo Ranch master
plan we are pleased to be able to present the attached check in
the amount of Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars as our contribution to
such a worthwhile affair.
We applaud you for your volunteer efforts and wish you the best of
luck with your celebration.
