ITEM EXPLANATION:
On March 26, 1991, the City Council approved Resolution No.
91-96, awarding a contract for the 1990-91 Water Meter
Replacement Program to J. J. Merrill Plumbing, Inc., in the
amount of $39,500. The replacement project is an ongoing
program to replace old and outdated meters which have become
difficult to read. The project began on May 13, 1991 and the work was subsequently completed on July 5, 1991, to the satisfaction of the Utilities and Maintenance Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Sufficient funds have been encumbered in Account No. 501-820-
6310-2489 for payment in full on the program.
EXHIBITS :
1. Notice of Completion.
** The contract no. referenced above in the "Recommended Action" is
incorrect. This project was not a public works contract, there
is no project no. assigned to it, and there are no bonds to release.
This error was found during conforming of the documents from the
meeting of 7/23/91.
