ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. NS-178 -
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-178, approving an amendment to the Carlsbad Airport Cer
Specific Plan 181 on property located between between El Carnino Real, Palomar Aiq
Road, North of College Avenue and McClellan-Palomar Airport.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-178 was introduced and first read at a regular City Council mee
on October 8, 1991. The second reading allows Council to adopt the ordinance wl
would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordina
published in the "Carlsbad Journal" within fifteen days, if adopted.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO SPECIFIC PLAN 181 ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL, PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD,
AIRPORT.
CASE NO: SP 181 (A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has j

and considered an amendment to Specific Plan 181; and
WHEREAS, after procedures in accordance with the requirements c
City Council has determined that the public interest indicates that said plan be a

SECTION 1: The Airport Business Centre Specific Plan amend
181(A), dated July 17, 1991, on file with the Planning Department and incorpc
reference herein is approved. The amended Specific Plan shall provide the dev
standards and guidelines for this property and all development of the propt
conform to the plan.
SECTION 2: That the findings of the Planning Commission con
Resolution Nos. 3274 and 3275, incorporated herein by reference shall cons1
findings and conditions of the City Council.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty day:
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance anc
to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
