ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering Department staff has completed reviewing the final map of Carlsbad -
17. This 26 lot planned industrial subdivision covers an area of approximately 1 i
located north of Palomar Airport Road at the intersection with College Boulevar
The tentative map for CT 85-17 was originally approved by Planning Commi:
October 1 ,1986 per Resolution No. 2579. On November 12,1986, City Council a
the tentative map by adopting Resolution No. 8873. On February 2, 1989, a 2
extension of time was granted by City Council per Resolution No. 89-51. A secc
extension for 16 months was granted by City Council with conditions on Nover
1990 per Resolution No. 90-405.
The final map conforms substantially to the Subdivision Map Act, Carlsbad M
Code, the Conditions of Approval and the Tentative Map. It is also consistent
Growth Management Ordinance and the requirements of the Local Facilities Man:
Plan for Zone 5.
The impacts on public facilities created by the proposed project in complying
adopted performance standards are summarized within the Facilities Impact Assc
from attached as Exhibit 2 of this Agenda Bill.

RESOLUTION NO. 91-389
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR
CT 85-1 7 - COLLEGE BUSINESS PARK.
WHEREAS, Huntington Beach Company, a California Corporation, the owne
land proposed to be subdivided, have submitted a final map to the City of Carts'
approval; and
WHEREAS, the Tentative Tract Map with conditions was passed by P
Commission on October 1, 1986 per Planning Commission Resolution No. 2579 a
Council on November 12, 1986 per City Council Resolution No. 8873; and
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for said final map have been compl
secured; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad determined it to be in tht
interest to approve said final map;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of C
