RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-191, designating a One-Hour Parking Zone for five parki
spaces on each side of Ocean Street at its southern terminus adjacent to the Sculpt1
Park.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-191 was introduced and first read at a regular City Council meetii
on January 21,1992. The second reading allows Council to adopt the ordinance whi
would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinan
published in the "Carlsbad Journal" within fifteen days, if adopted.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.40 OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.40.079 TO DESIGNATE
OF OCEAN STREET AT ITS SOUTHERN TERMINUS ADJACENT TO THE
SCULPTURE PARK.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is am
A ONE-HOUR PARKING ZONE FOR FIVE PARKING SPACES ON EACH SIDE
by the addition of Section 10.40.079 to read as follows:
"1 0.40.079 There will be One-Hour parking for the five parking spaces on each
side of Ocean Street at its southern terminus adjacent to the Sculpture Park,
excluding handicap spaces."
